. he died on his kitchen floor from asphyxiation. police affidavit say the suspects used packaging tape to blindfold and gag kumra. the suspects auld tied his hands and feet behind his back. three men and a woman have been charged in connections with the case. they say he frequently hired prostitutes, including this woman, who is in custody. they believe she turned over information about his mansion to the other suspects who are gang members. these gangs are known to carry out home invasions targeting asian and indian families. according to the affidavit, dna evidence led them to the suspects. >>> a parolee who managed to escape from san jose police on wednesday is back in custody. officers found anthony sanchez sleeping inside a stolen truck around 11:30 thursday night. police say sanchez escaped from officers after being arrested on hillsdale avenue on wednesday. he was able to slip his handcuffs to the front of his body, then took off in a police van. he is now facing auto theft, burglary and drug charges. >>> also in sanyo say, police are searching for three suspects who broke into

in cairo for us this morning. thank you. now here's matt. >>> a huge winter storm is battering the heartland this morning. it's the second blizzard to hit that region in about a week. the weather channel's mike seidel is in wichita, kansas. mike, deja vu all over again. >> reporter: yes, they're digging out from another one today. luckily, the sun is out this morning. here in wichita, you combine both storms, they've now had their snowiest month on record. they've been measuring snow here for 125 years. hit the hardest. in amarillo, they picked up 19 inches yesterday. that makes it their snowiest day on record. howling wind and blinding snow are posing huge problems for motorists in the texas panhandle. several roads are impassable because of whiteout conditions. 12 to 18 inches of snow and drifts as high as six feet are reported. the national weather service calls the texas blizzard crippling and historic. folks in western oklahoma are bringing out their shovels and struggling with the wind. the oklahoma highway patrol is telling all nonessential personnel to stay home until t

that we have. our radar is not looking too bad for us. we have light sprinkles on the lower edge of this. did not present any snow issues for us. you see that massive moisture just still moving up into canada. it's taking its time gets out of there. the longer it stays there with temperatures in the 20s in new england it's going to dump snow. for us, we had a wienld advisory in place until 6 a.m. it has not been lifted. the winds are sustained around 20 miles per hour at times and they're going to be that way for a little while. the advisory stays in place until that starts to calm down. temperatures in the 20s. clear skies. temperatures in the mid 30s and with the winds coming down, we'll have less of a wind chill. we'll talk more about wind coming up in just a few moments. >> okay. of course, forecasters were expecting a big blast of snow from that storm system. so far that's exactly what people are seeing. travel has become virtually impossible. >> the snow blew in sideways, piling up in drifts and burying cars on the road. >> there's nothing you can do. you can't push it you can't d
